ACE¶
The Associate Cloud Engineer exam is a broad, non-specialised certification.
The demand for cloud engineers is expected to grow. The assumption is that you have around 6 months of experience. I am going to try to pass this with no prior experience.
The key is going to be to prepare well.
The ACE exam¶

The exam tests the applicants ability to architect with the GCP infrastructure and understanding the fundamentals of the GCP core infrastructure.
This means:
- Setting up a cloud solution environment
- Planning and configuring solutions
- Ensuring successful operations
- Configuring access and security
Make a Study Plan and Know what to study:
- Architecting with GCP infrastructure
- GCP Fundamentals/Core Infrastructure
This means:
- GCP core infrastructure
- essential cloud infrastructure (foundation)
- essential cloud infrastructure (core services)
- elastic cloud infrastructure (scaling and automation)
- elastic cloud infrastrucure (containers and services)
